Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-15
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
FEASIBILITY REPORT ON THE IMPROVEMENT OF
CHIPPEWA ROAD FROM MOHAWK DRIVE TO WILLOW
DRIVE
WHEREAS, it has been proposed to improve Chippewa Road to a 9 ton capacity from its
intersection with Mohawk Drive westward to Willow Drive and to assess benefited properties for all
or a portion of the cost of said improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the proposed roadway improvement project be referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik
& Associates as consulting city engineers and that they be instructed to report with all
convenient speed advising the city council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in
connection with some other improvement and the estimated cost of the improvement.
2. City staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take all necessary and
appropriate action in order to ensure the intent of this resolution is effected.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hamilton
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None Absent: Hamilton
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
