HomeMy Public PortalAbout09-18-2003THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS AND SAFETY OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, SEPTEMBER 18, 2003 The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2003 in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. Vice Chairperson Robin Henry presided, with Bruce Metzger, and Assistant City Attorney Joel Harvey in attendance. Chairperson Bob Goodwin was absent. The following business was conducted: I_ 1>>: TOI T/ _ 1 S61 a L Y i I I► 011 � Metzger made a motion to approve the minutes for September 11, 2003, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT Metzger presented claims from the Finance Department for $280,884.44 and made a motion to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. REQUESTS A. At the request of the City Engineer's Office, Henry recommended approval of street lights on South 3rd between "P" and "Q" Street at a cost of $6.68 per month. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. CHANGE ORDERS A. Change Order #3 for Phase I of the Southwest and Northwest 5th Street Rehabilitation Project is a reduction of $4,527.11 and the new total $245,733.55. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. B. Change Order #5 is for the South 1 st Street renovation with a reduction of $9,526.49 and the new total is $362,006.05. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. RESOLUTION #1 A. Harvey requested approval of Resolution #1 — 2003, establishing administrative processing expenses for enforcing compliance with unsafe building /unsafe premises orders. Metzger moved to approve, second by Henry and the motion was carried on a voice vote. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice vote, the meeting was adjourned.
