Member Albers introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 2022-59
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING RESIGNATION OF
POLICE OFFICER JEREMIAH JESSEN
WHEREAS, Jeremiah Jessen began employment with the City of Medina as a Police Officer
in the Police Department on July 9, 2007; and
WHEREAS, on July 15, 2022, Jessen submitted a letter of resignation from his position
addressed to the Public Safety Director; and
WHEREAS, Jeremiah Jessen’s resignation from his position is effective July 17, 2022.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina that
Jeremiah Jessen’s letter of resignation is hereby accepted.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Reid and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Albers, Cavanaugh, DesLauriers, Martin, Reid
And the following voted against same:
None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
