AN APPROPRIATION ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 36-1998, WHICH AUTHORIZED THE SUBMITTAL, ACCEPTANCE, AND APPROPRIATION OF A GRANT FROM THE AREA 9 IN-HOME COMMUNITY SERVICES AGENCY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 36-1998 authorized the submittal, acceptance, and
appropriation of a grant from the Area 9 In-Home Community Services Agency; and
WHEREAS, said grant was to be used by the City of Richmond in order to assist with
the funding of salaries for Paratransit Drivers; and
WHEREAS, additional grant funding was awarded; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to amend Ordinance No. 36-1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that Ordinance No. 36-1998 is hereby amended to read as follows:
1. The City of Richmond is hereby authorized to submit a grant application to the Area 9 In-Home Community Services Agency to assist with the funding of salaries for Paratransit Drivers.
2. The City of Richmond is authorized to accept said grant funding in an amount up to Forty Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($40,500.00).
3. Said funds shall be appropriated to assist with the funding of salaries for Paratransit Drivers.
Passed and adopted this 7th day of December, 1998, by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana.
