A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYN[�IOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ADVERTISING, PROMO-
TION:AND PUBLICITY FOR FISCAL YEAR Zg67-6�.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as £ollows:
Section l. An Agreement exists between the City of
Lynwood and the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to which this
resolution is a part and is re£erred to as "Exhibit A." The
purpose of this exhibit is to eatablish a budget and a method o£
payment to the Chamber in exchange for advertiNing, promotion,
and publicity for the city, It is the City Council's desire that
strict attention be paid to all facets of said Agreement,
especially those of Section 2 which refer to gaining permission
for "approved" advertising and "mieleading:'"advertising.
Section 2 . There is appropriated from the General
Fund of the city, a total of �13 which is the maximum to
be paid for advertising, promotion, and publicity in fiecal
�- 1g67-78.- Thie money will be allocated af the rate of $1,123.00
per month beginning on or about July l, 1967 and continuing to
be pa,id,on or about the first day of each month for the remaining
eleven months of the £iscal year, subject to the audit and pay-
back etipulations contained in the Agreement.
Section 3. A definite budget indica,ting anticipated
itema of expenditures is outlined below. Maximum salary in
relation to revenues has been provided, but under no circumstances
will such adminiatrative costs exceed thirty-three and one-third
percent (33-1/3�) of all monies, from whatever source, expended
for city advertising and publicitg.

The Chamber may not exceed the amount allocated for any one item
described under the general heading "Advertising and Publicity"
without prior written approval of the City Manager. Under no
circumstances may expenditures for administrative costs exceed
the amount established by the City Council
Section �l . This exhibit resolution shall terminate on
