HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-02147 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.99-21 RESOLUTION APPROVING FEASIBILITY REPORT, SETTING HEARING, AND AUTHORIZING PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SANITARY SEWER AND WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT PROJECT ON MOHAWK DRIVE AND CHIPPEWA ROAD WHEREAS, pursuant to a city council resolution adopted on February 16, 1999, Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates has prepared a feasibility report regarding the construction of sanitary sewer and water main improvements on Mohawk Drive from T.H. 55 to Chippewa Road and this report was received by the city council at its meeting on April 20, 1999. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The feasibility report for the captioned project is accepted by the city council and the city will consider the construction of the improvement project and the assessment of benefited properties for a portion or all of the costs of the improvement, which is estimated to be $325,000. 2. A public hearing is hereby set on such improvement to be held on May 18, 1999 in the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of the hearing as required by law. 3. Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates is hereby designated as city engineer for the improvement and shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of same. 4. It is the judgment of the city council that the proposed improvement has no relationship to the city's comprehensive plan. RHB-161998 99-21 ME230-288 04-06-99 48 Dated: April 6, 1999.
