Before beginning their business meeting tonight, the Nauset School Committees and
Administrators will recognize the Outstanding Employee and Teachers of the year , retiring staff
and retiring school committee members.

Retiring School Committee Members :
Sarah Blackwell will be retiring after nine years of service to the Region School Committee as
representative f•om Eastham. Deb Beal will be retiring after three years of service to the Region
School Committee as representative from Orleans. Sallie Probolus will be retiring from the
Region School Committee afterfilling a one year term as representative from Brewster.
We are grateful to all those who have served our children and our communities so ivell.

A . Presentation — Social Emotional Learninia ( SEL)
Dr. Ann Caretti and Mr . Keith Gauley will present to the committees .
B . Superintendent ' s Evaluation
Gail Briere, Vice Chair of Union 54, will present a summary of the evaluations
completed by Union 54 School Committee members .
Chris Easley, Chair of the Region, will present a summary of the evaluations
completed by Region School Committee members . School Committee members
will add to the discussion.
C . Executive Session
The School Committee will go into Executive Session to discuss contract
negotiations with union and non-union personnel in which having a discussion in
open session may have a detrimental effect on its bargaining position. The
committee will come out of Executive Session and disclose the agreement in open
session.
The School Committee will set the salary of the Superintendent for the 2018 -2019
school year according to the contract .
