A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD';'CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING.TO ESTABLISHMENT
' OF. A PORTION OF SANTA FE AVENUE WITHIN SAID CITY
AS A PART. OF THE SYSTEM OF COUNTY HIGHWAYS OF
THE 'COUN,TY OF li0S ANGELES. • ' �
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors did on Nov'emb'er:7.,
1967, duly adopt a resolution declaring Santa Fe,Avenue betw.een
500.fee't northerly. of Century Boulevard. and 111th:Stree't as a
part of .the syst'em of highways :of the County. of Los Angeles, all
as pr.ovided in Sections 1700,to 1704, inclusive, of. the Streets
and Highways Code of. the State of California; and
WHEREAS, said Board of Supervisors,by said resolution
reques:ted this Council to give its consent.to improve 'said road
within said portion described above.: �
" NOW,. THEREFORE, the City Council of the City. of Lynwood
' does resolve as.follows:
Sec'tio'n l Consent to 'Inclusiori'in Courity Highway Sys'.tem
This City Couneil does hereby- consent .to the' establishment. of�
Santa Fe Avenue .bet.ween.50Q £eet northerly of Century Boulevard
' and lllth Str.eet as a part of the sys,tem of hlghways of the '
County of Los Angeles as pr.ovided in Sections 1700',tio 1704,. inclusive,' �
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California. •
Section 2. Improvements.of Road. Consent is hereby
., given,for the improvement of and/or acquisition of right of way
for the abo.ve.desc'ribed' road by the,County of,Los Angeles, in
conformity with its standard plans and specifications,for such a
road, or. such.other plans and specifications as may be approv.ed .
, by this City Council.
