RESOLUTION OF INTENTIODI: BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORIdIA, DECLARING IT TO EE ITS
IDiTENTION TO VACATE AND ABANDON FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES
THAT PORTION OF CEIVTURY BOULEVARD, 42 FEET WIDE,
,. LYIIdG ADJACENT TO LOTS 3.THROUGH 10'OF TRACT N0.
20680, MAP BOOK 55z PAGES 4,.5, AND 6, RECORDS OF
LOS ANGELES COUNTY.
The City Couricil of the City of Lynwood; California hereby
, resolves and ordains as follows: , ,
Se'ction 1 : That portion of Century Boulevard, 42 feet wide,
lying adjacent to Lots 3 through.l0 of Traet No�.'20680,, Map Book 552,
Pages 4, 5, and 6, Records of Los.Angeles County, within the corporate
limits of the City of Lynwood, is unnecessary for present or pros- �
pective public street purposes and that the public interest,
necessity, and convenience require, and City Council of said
city hereby declares its intention to vacate and abandon that portion ,
• of said street. :
. Se'ction 2 :•. That said portion of street is above described„
--being in-the�City of Lynwood, is shown on the official map o£ the
City of Lynwood, at the of£ice of the City Clerk of said city, to
which.all parties interested are referred for particulars as to. the
proposed vacation and abandonment. ' . �
- Sebt'ion 3 : That the City Council elects ,to proceed in
said vacation and abandonment under Section 8300 to 83z4 inclusively,
of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California as
amended.
". Sect'ion 4 : The City Council of the.City of Lynwood does
hereby determine that the public convenience and necessity require
' tha� an easement be retained for construction and maintenance of
utility lines within the limits of�the street vacation, as described
in Section 1. These proceedings are taken subject to'such easement.
� Section 5 : That the�City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
is hereby directed to give and post, as required by law, notice
of the passage of this Resolution of�Intention, and give,therein

the legal description of said street proposed to be vacated and
abandoned, and'specify the time and place of hearing of this
Resolution of Infention, which is hereby fixed as follows:
The hearing to be before the City Couneil of the City
of Lynwood, at 11330 Bu121s Road, in the Cit-y Council Cha.mbere of �
the Cify Hall of said City of Lynwood, at the hour of 7.30 p.m.
o'cloek, January 16, 1962i, at which time and place all persons
interested may appear and object or protest to the proposed
vacation and abandonment of said street.
Section b : After the passing and adoption of this
Resolution of Intention, the City of Lynwood ehall forthwith cause
a certifiea copy thereof to be published once in the Lynwood press,
a newspaper printed and cireulated in the City of Lynwood, California,
passed and adopted at the regular December 5,-1967, meeting of' the
City,Council of the City of Lynwood, California.
