�. The City Council of the City of Lynwood hereoy resolves - •
. as follows: � ' �
� �WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood would like'to.have a check'
made of its taxable sales records with emphasis upon a comparison
between.sales revealed,by the'1963 census of business and sales
, eredited to Lynwood by the State Board of Equalization, and
'• WHEREAS, Section 7056 of the Revenue Code protects the �
_ confidential nature'of the records, it also provides that an�officer
or employee of the city may inspect the individual tax reports if •
authorized to do.so by resolution of the legislative body.
THEREFORE BE IT,''RESOLVED�that �the City Manager of -the '. .
'`. City. of Lynwood is hereby. granted the authority. to inspect the.
sales. tax records .at� Sacramerit�o beh°a�Lf of` the Ci£y of Lynwood --- �- .;
' in order that a comparison can be made .bet.we'eri the census results
of.the State Board of Equalization reports. 'It is requested that
� this'authorizarion be applicable beginning in the last week of '

. January if inspection�of tax•r.ecords is mutually convenient
to the staff of the State Board and the City.Nlanager. '
