RESOLUTION NO. 15-9056
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO APPOINT A CITY MANAGER;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka Charter authorizes the City Commission to
appoint a City Manager; and
WHEREAS,The City Commission voted to solicit applications for the position of
City Manager; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission has reviewed the resumes of the applicants
and conducted interviews and desires to appoint a City Manager.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby appoints Roy Stephen Shiver, Tr. as City
Manager.
Section 3. The appointment of Roy Stephen Shiver, Tr. as City Manager becomes
effective upon the City Commission's approval.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
