OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CIRCULATIODi OF PETITIONS •
REQUESTING THE ADINE�XATION OF 'OLANDA STREET
ANNEXATION N0. 1 TO THE CITY OF LYIQW,OOD'. ' . :

WHEREAS, the Planning Commiss,ion of ,the City of-Lynwood
. on the 19th day of October, 1g65 „ filed�its, report with the City
Council concerning the annexation of the unincorporated territory
generally described as that which is bounded generally by Olanda
Street on the north, 6laldorf Street on the east, McMillari on the
south•and Thorson Avenue on.the .west.to the City of L•ynwood, and
WHEREAS, on the 19th day of October, 1965 the City
Council of the City of Lynwood consented to the commencement
of annexation proceedings to.,annex said territory, and
WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of the
• County�of Los Angeles did on the_8th'day of Dec'ember, 1g.65,
. appr.oved the proposal for,such annexation, and.
WHEREAS, on the.7th 'day�of January 1g66 there was�filed -
, with the City.,Clerk of the City of Lynwood an affidavit of publication
that said notice of intention to circulate 'petitions relating to �
the.annexation of said territory , to.the C'ity of Lynwood.was , �
published in the Herald American and the Lynwood Press on the 6th
day of January, 1966, and � " ' .
� NOL+1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that receipt of the
affidavits of .publication is heretiy acknowledged and approval is '
. hereby given for the circulation of pe.t'itions,for the annexation
of said territory as hereinafter des'cribed.
That said territory is hereby�designated,as "OLANDA �
STREET ANNEXATION N0. 1" and is described as follows:
Beginning at .the intersection of the Westerly line
� of Tnact, No.•11270, as-':per maps recorded'in Book
204, Page 50 of Maps, record of Los Angeles County,
. California, and the centerline"of Olanda Street, ',
