RESOLUTION NO. 15-9057
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO NEGOTIATE AND PRESENT
THE COMMISSION WITH A CONTRACT FOR THE NEW
CITY MANAGER; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka City Commission has appointed Roy Stephen
Shiver, Jr. as City Manager; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission desires that Commissioner Terence K. Pinder
negotiate and bring back before the City Commission for approval a contract setting
forth the terms and conditions of the new City Manager's contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs Commissioner Terence K. Pinder
to negotiate and bring back before the City Commission for approval a contract
for the new City Manager.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
