TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
MINUTES
OCTOBER 5, 1999
INITIATION:
1. CALL TO ORDER:
Pursuant to the Agenda posted September 30, 1999, Chairman Brook called the meeting of the Temple
City Redevelopment Agency to order at 7:43 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 1999.
2. ROLL CALL:
PRESENT: Member- Gillanders, Souder, Wilson, Breazeal, Brook
ALSO PRESENT: General Counsel Martin and Assistant Executive Director Dawson
3. TIME FOR THOSE IN THE AUDIENCE WHO WISH TO SPEAK: None
4. CONSENT CALENDAR:
Vice Chairman Breazeal moved to approve the Consent Calendar as presented, seconded by Mr. Gillanders
and unanimously carried.
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Regular Meeting of September 21, 1999
Approved the minutes from the regular meeting of September 21, 1999, as submitted.
C. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF REZONING FROM C -2 TO R -2 FOR AGENCY -OWNED
PROPERTY AT 5836 RENO AVENUE
Received and filed.
B. RESOLUTION NO. CRA 99 -700: APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF BILLS
Approved Resolution No. CRA 99 -700, A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ALLOWING CLAIMS AND DEMANDS.

6. NEW BUSINESS
A. PUBLIC HEARING: AMENDMENT TO HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM
GUIDELINES
General Counsel Martin presented background information as outlined in the staff report dated
October 5, 1999.
Chairman Brook declared the public hearing open and invited those wishing to speak to come
forward.
There being no one wishing to speak, Vice Chairman Breazeal moved to close the public hearing,
seconded by Mrs. Wilson and unanimously carried.
Vice Chairman Breazeal stated he supported the concept and recognized there may be occasional
defaults, but nothing significant. The other memebers concurred.
Vice Chairman Breazeal moved to adopt Resolution No. CRA 99 -701, A RESOLUTION OF THE
TEMPLE CITY COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDING CRITERIA FOR
ADMINISTERING THE LOW AND VERY LOW INCOME HOUSING REHABILITATION
PROGRAM, seconded by Mrs. Wilson and unanimously carried.

At 7:46 p.m., it was moved, seconded and unanimously carried to adjourn. The next regular meeting of
the Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 1999.
