RESOLUTION N0. 66-18 .
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TKE CITY OF .
LYNWOOD DIRECTING PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITATION
� REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF DUNCAN
AVENUE AND JOSEPHINE STREET.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to

institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth;
WHEREAS, the general nature, location, and extent of such
improvement is as f.ollows;
Construction of concrete curbs and gutters and drive
approa,ches on Duncan Avenue between Fernwood Avenue
and Lavinia Avenue, and on the south side of Josephine
between Duncan Avenue and Pope Avenue, a.nd
WHEREAS, it is hereby further determined tha.t the City
Council of the City of Lynwood adopt this resolution under and in
, a.ceordance with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of Cali£ornia which is known as the Special Assessment Investi-
� gation, Limita.tion, and Majority Protest Aet of 1931 as amended.
It is hereby further determined that the City Council proposes to
conduct the proceedings for said proposed work or improvement under
an act of the Legislature of the Sta.te of California imown and '
designated as the "Improvement Act of 1911", a.s amended, and
WI-IEREAS, the boundary or extent of the assessment district
to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown on Plant No. 1966-A-1 on file in the office of the City Clerk
of�said `city, which shall govern for all deta.ils as to the extent of

said assessment district.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the City Engineer be and is hereby directed to
prepare and deliver to said City Council a written report covering

said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of.said .
