HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-02765 Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 99-27 RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL APPROVAL OF THE PLAT OF CATES MEDINA ADDITION WHEREAS, C.C.&M. Partnership (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of land in Medina generally located north of T.H. 55 and west of County Road 101 which it intends to plat as Cates Medina Addition; and WHEREAS, the city has previously granted preliminary approval to the Applicant's plat; and WHEREAS, the final plat for Cates Medina Addition has now been received and reviewed for its compliance with the ordinances of the city and the terms and conditions of preliminary approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that final approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of Cates Medina Addition, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The Applicant must extend Clydesdale Trail to the west and construct a temporary cul-de-sac at its expense and in accordance with city standards; 2. The Applicant must permanently close the old driveway to the southwest prior to issuance of any building permit; 3. Access to both the lot and outlot will be obtained from Clydesdale Trail; 4. The Applicant must pay to the city a park dedication fee in an amount to be determined by the city assessor; 5. The Applicant must completely remove the old theater sign at the southwest RHB-161468 ME230-286 99-27 04-20-99 66 entrance prior to the issuance of any building permits; 6. The Applicant must execute a development agreement in a form acceptable to the city attorney and post an adequate financial escrow to assure completion of the Clydesdale Trail and other identified improvements prior to execution of this resolution by the mayor and city clerk - treasurer; 7. The Applicant must file the final plat with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of this resolution or the approval granted by this resolution shall be null and void; and 8. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing and approving this application. Dated: April 20, 1999.
