HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-02867 Member Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.99-28 RESOLUTION APPROVING FEASIBILITY REPORT, ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND SETTING HEARING FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF CHIPPEWA ROAD FROM MOHAWK DRIVE TO WILLOW DRIVE WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the city council on March 2, 1999, a feasibility report has been prepared by Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates with reference to the improvement of Chippewa Road from Mohawk Drive to Willow Drive and the report was received by the city council at its meeting on April 20, 1999. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The city council hereby accepts the feasibility report prepared by the city engineer for the captioned project and will consider the improvement of Chippewa Road and the assessment of benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost thereof, which is estimated to be $324,000. 2. The city engineer is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications for the making of said improvement and to return the plans and specifications to the city council at its earliest convenience. 3. A public hearing shall be held on such improvement on May 18, 1999 in the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The city clerk -treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
