The Mbab City Council adopted a resolution at the regular
city council meeting of December 7, 1976. This resolution was in
response to erroneous recent rumors that the City did not desire
water from the proposed dam to be built in upper Spanish Valley.
The resolution is as follows:
RESOLUTION 6-76
The Moab City Council is definately interested in
the construction of a lake by the Grand County
Water Conservancy District that is planned in
upper Spanish Valley to be served by the Shelley
Tunnel from Mill Creek primarily for future water
needs by the City of Moab.
