RESOLUTION NO. 15-9061
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO REQUEST THAT THE US ARMY CORPS OF
ENGINEERS DEMOLISH THE WATER TANK LOCATED AT
NW 128TH STREET AND 45TH AVENUE; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission believes that the wall located at NW 128t"
Street 45t" Avenue is an eye soar that works to the public detriment; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission believes that demolition of that wall will
better serve the public.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to request that
the Army Corps of Engineers demolish the water tank located at NW 128t" Street
and 45t" avenue.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
