HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-03071 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.99-30 RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO DOUG DICKERSON WHEREAS, Doug Dickerson (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of the property located at 2625 Pioneer Trail (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested permission to construct a third accessory building on the Property for storage of personal items; and WHEREAS, the city's zoning ordinance requires a conditional use permit when the number of accessory buildings exceeds two or their aggregate square footage exceeds 3000 on property within the rural residential district; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on April 13, 1999 and by the city council at its meeting on April 20, 1999; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the Applicant's request will not adversely impact the development of adjacent properties for purposes for which they are currently zoned. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that a conditional use permit be granted to the Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The new building may not exceed 42' by 72' and may be used only for storage of personal items; 2. No livestock or other animals may be kept in the new accessory building; 3. The total number of accessory buildings on the Property, including the new building, may not exceed three and the total square footage of those buildings may not exceed 5,112; and RHB-161944 99-30 ME230-295 05-04-99 72 4. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount to be determined by the city staff to represent the actual cost to the city of reviewing this conditional use permit.
