RES'OLUTION OF INTENTION IN THE MATTER OF THE- '
IMPROVEMENT OF DUNCAN AVENUE ET AL BY THE
' COIJSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE CURBS AND GUTTERS,
. TOGETHER WITH ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT
WORK, .
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of D�ision IV of
the Streets,and Highways Code,.cited as a Special Assessment . '
Investigation Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1g31, the
City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that Duncan
Avenue,.between Fernwood Avenue and Lavinia Avenue, and portions
of Fernwood Avenue, east and west of Duncan Avenue, and portions
of Josephine Street, east and west of Duncan Avenue, and portions
of Lavinia Avenue, east of Duncan Avenue, as proposed in Resolution
No. 66-18 of said is feasible and, that the.public interest,
convenience, and necessity require the improvement substantia.11y
as set forth in said report, ancl said1City.Council has found that
t�he lands to be assessed will be able,to sta,nd the burden of the
proposed assessment; '
NOW, THEREFORE; be it resolved by the City Council o£
the City of Lynwood as follows;
Section l. That in the opinion o£ the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, the public.interest and convenience require
and it is the intention of said City Council.to order the £ollowing
work or improvement to be done to wit:
The construction o£ cement concrete curb and gutter and
drive approaches, including all incidental and appurtenant work on
Duncan Avenue, between Fernwood Avenue and Lavinia Averiue, and on
the south side of Fernwood Avenue 161.8 feet east and west of Duncan
Avenue, and on the north side of Josephine Street 160 feet west and
110 feet east of Duncan Avenue, and on the south side of Josephine
Street 320 feet west and ll0 feet east of Duncan Avenue, and on the
norfh side of Lavinia..Avenue 206.65 feet east of Duncan Avenue.
