RESOLUTION NO. 15-9064
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ADVERTISE ALL CITY RELATED AND
SPONSORED EVENTS ON THE CITY'S WEBSITE, AT THE
GATEWAY AND ON OPA-TV WITHOUT HAVING TO
HAVE A REQUEST BEING MADE TO DO SO; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka, Florida sponsors events on a weekly
basis ; and
WHEREAS, There is a need for the residents of the City and the general
public to be fully informed of City related and sponsored events.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby directed to advertise City related and
sponsored events on the City's website, at the Gateway and on Opa-TV without
having to have a request being made to do so.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
