BOUNDARY OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
Tne City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereoy

• �. resolve as £ollows: ,
WHEREAS, the Route Plann,ing�Sta£f of the State
Highway Department has proposed three routes for the Century
Freeway through : the City of L �and '
. WHEREAS, various cities in,.the Soutneast area of
• Los Angeles are to all proposed routes, and
WHEREAS, .tne City Council of the City,of Lynwood
^ has gone on record opposing 'any route which would divide the
.City of Lynwood and.possibly destroy the-social and economic
climate of'the community as well as the tax base of the �
� Lynwood Uni£ied School District, •
IT IS RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Lynwood requests the Route Planning Section of.zhe State
Highway Department to study the total economic effects of
a,:heretofore undiscussed route which would traverse gener- � �

. � � al-1y the southerly boundary of the City o£ Lynwood.
