RESOLUTION N0, 66-56
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DIRECTING PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITATION
REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE
SOUTH SIDE OF ALMA AVENUE, SETWEEN RUTH STREET
AND OTIS STREET.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolved as follows:
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood proposes to .,;,
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set £orth;
WHEREAS, the genera.l nature, location, and extent of
such improvement is as follows;
. Construction of concrete curbs and gutters, drive
a.pproaches and sidewalks on the south side of Alma
Avenue, between Ruth Street and Otis Street, and
WHEREAS, it is hereby further determined tha,t the City
Council o£ the City of Lynwood adopt this resolution under and in
� accordance with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California., which is lmown as.the Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation, and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as
amended. It is hereby further determined tha.t the City Council
proposes to conduct the proceedings for said proposed work or
improvement under a.n act of the Legislature of the State o£ Cali-
fornia lm own and designa.ted as the "Improvement Act of 1911'.', a.s
amended, a.nd
WHEREAS, the boundary or extent of the a,ssessment district
to be a,ssessed to pay the costs and expenses of said improvement is
shown.on Plan No. 19E6-G on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent
of said assessment district.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of
the C3ty of Lynwood that the City Engineer be and is hereby directed
to prepare a.nd deliver to said City Council a written report covering
said work or improvement in accordance with the provisions of said
"Special Assessment Investiga,tion, Limitation, and Majority Protest
Act o£ 1g31", a,s amended.
