RESOLUTION N0. 66-61
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR ADVERTISING, PROMO-
TION AND PUBLICITY.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Secfion l . An agreement exists between the City of
Lynwood and the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to which this
resolution is a part and is referred to as "Exhibit A, The
purpose of this exhibit is to establish a budget and method of
payment to the Chamber in exohange for advertising, promotion
and publicity of the city. It is the City Council's desire that
strict attention be paid to all £acets of said agreement, especially
those of Section 2 whieh refer to ga.ining permission £or "approved"
advertis'ing and "mislea.ding" advertising,
Section 2 . There is appropriated from the General F'und
of the city"a total of.$12;793 which is the maximum which will be
paid for advertising, promotion and publicity in fiscal 1966-67.
This money will be a.11ocated at the rate of $1,066 per month
beginning on or about July 1, 1966, and continuing to be paid on
or about the first day of ea.ch month for the remaining ele'ven
months of the fiscal year, subject to the audit and pay-back
stipulations contained in the agreement.
Section 3 . A definitive budget indicating anticipa.ted
items of expenditures is outlined below. Maximum salary in
relation to revenues ha,s been provided, but under no circumstances
- will such administrative costs exceed 33-1/3I of all monies, from
wha.tever source, expended for city advertising and publicity.

Chamber may not exceed the amount alloca,ted for a.ny one
item described under the general hea.din� "Advertising and Publicity,"
without prior written approval of the City Mana,ger. Under no
circumstances may expenditures for administrative costs exceed the
amount established by the City Council.
Section 4 . This exhibit resolution shall terminate on
June 30,:1g67.
