RESOLUTION No. 66-68
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD DIRECTING PREPARATION OF DEBT LIMITATION
- REPORT IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT OF DUNCAN
AVENUE ET AL
,' The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby resolve
as follows: �
WHEREAS, t_he public interest,.convenience, and necessity
require and the City Council of the City of Lynwood'proposes to
institute proceedings for the improvement hereinafter set forth; .
WHEREAS, the general nature; location, and extent of such
improvement.is as £ollows: � • .
� � Construction of concrete, curbs_ and gutters and drive
approaches. on Duncan Ayenue between Fernwood Avenue �
and Lavinia Avenue, and on portion's of Fernwood Avenue,.
Josephine Avenue, and Lavinia Avenue, and
' WHEREAS, it is hereby'further. determined that the City
Council of the City of Lynwood adopt this resolution under'and in _ ._
accordance with Section 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the ,
State of California which is known as the Spe,cial Assessment Investi-
gation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931, as amended. It
is her.eby further. determined that the City Council proposes to
conduct the'.proceedings £or'said proposed work or improvement under
an act of the Legis'lature of the State of California known and
designated as the "Improvement Act of 191I," as amended, and
WHEREAS, the boundary or extent of the assessment district
to be as,sessed to pay the costs and expenses 'of said improvement is
shown on Plans No. 1966-x-1 on £ile in the office of the City C1erk .'
of said city, which shall govern for all details as to the extent of '
said assessment district.
NOU7, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood that the City Engineer .be and is hereby directed
to prepare and deliver to said City•Council a written report covering '
