Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-36
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL TO
A PLAT FOR MAUREEN CONNOLLY AND BETH AND
FINN HAUG
WHEREAS, Maureen Connolly is the owner of property located at 2225 Willow Drive and
Beth and Finn Haug are the owners of property located at 2275 Willow Drive (collectively, the
"Applicants"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicants have proposed to replat their properties to rearrange the lot
lines; and
WHEREAS, this matter was considered by the planning commission at its meeting on May
11, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the city council has had an opportunity to review the preliminary plat for
compliance with the city's ordinances.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicants, subject to the
following terms and conditions:
1. The Applicants must provide title evidence to the city attorney for review;
2. The plat must dedicate standard drainage and utility easements along the new lot
lines;
3. The Applicants must pay to the city an administrative fee in the amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing and approving this application; and
4. The Applicants must submit the final plat to the zoning administrator within 180
days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. The final
plat must be in compliance with all city ordinances and standards and in accordance with this
preliminary plat approval.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hamilton
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None Absent: Smith
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
