RESOLUTION NO. 15-9068
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
BROWN LAW GROUP TO INITIATE EVICTION
PROCEEDINGS OF TENANTS OF TOWN CENTER ONE,
780 FISHERMAN STREET, OPA-LOCKA, FL,; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, The City of Opa-locka, Florida is the owner and landlord of
Town Center One; and
WHEREAS, The City, as owner and landlord, may be required to initiate
eviction proceedings.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The Brown Law Group, LLC is hereby authorized to initiate formal
eviction proceedings to evict the tenants when requested by the City Manager.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of September, 2015.
