RESOLUTIODI OVERRULING PROTESTS IN COSdPIECTI0IJ
WITH THE HEARING ON DEBT LIMITATION FOR THE
PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS OF ALMA AVENUE BETWEEN
RUTH STREET APSD OTIS AVENUE BY THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CONCRETE CURB AND GUTTER AND DRIVEWAY APPROACHES
AND SIDEWALK, TOGETHER WITH ALL ITICIDENTAL AND
APPURTENANT WORK.
WHEREAS,_ the City Council of the City of Lynwood did,
on the 2nd day of Auguat, 1�66 approve an investigation report
under the provisions of Division 4 of the Streets and Highway
Code, cited a.s "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation
and Majority Protest Act of 1931", as amended, upon the proposed
improvement of "Alma Avenue, between Ruth Street and Aqenue, by
the construction of concret curb and gutter, driveway approaches
and eidewa,lk, together with all incidental and appurtenant work,
as shown on Plan rro. 1g66-G-3 on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said city, and
WHEREAS, 4aid report having been duly prepared and
filed, a hearing waE held by said City Council on the 6th day
of September, 1966, in the manner provided in said Act above
referred to, and
WHEREAS, more than thirty dayti have expired since the
date of mailing notices of hearing on said report,
. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
'does hereby resolve as follows:
1. That the protests made at said hearing on sa.id
inveutigation report be and the same are hereby overruled;
2. That the public interest, convenience, and nece�sity
require the doing and making of the public improvement set £orth
and described in said report above re£erred to and substantially
in the manner set forth; �
3, That the project consiuting of the proposed
improvement above referred to is feasible, and that the land to
be assessed will be able to carry the burden of said proposed
assessment;

4. That t'i�e etitimated total amount proposed to be
assessed upon any or all lots or parcels of:land for the coats
and expenses of said proposed improvement does not exceed the
� limitation of indebfedness established and set forth in said act
above referred to and will not, by the levy thereof, cause said
limitation to be exceeded in any,instance;
5. That no majority protest has been filed with the
�C1erk of the legislative body by the owners of the property
proposed to be as�essed to pay the costs and expenses of said
proposed improvement;
6. ,That it is hereby ordered that the proceedings for
the making of said proposed improvement be undertaken pursuant
to the provisions of an Act of the Legislature of the State of
California designated as Division 7 of the Streets and Highways
Code, cited as the "ImproVement Aet of 1911'; and amendments
