RESOLUTION REJECTING AND REAUTHOR1ZING BIDS FOR
CARTERET PARK IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") has received bids for
improvements to the athletic courts in Carteret Park; and
WHEREAS, all the bids received vastly exceeded the estimated cost of the job; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret remain committed to
the project.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and council of the Borough
of Carteret that all bids received in connection with improvements to the athletic courts
in Carteret Park, designated as Contract 00-07 are hereby rejected.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Borough Engineer and the Purchasing Agent
be and are hereby authorized to resolicit bids for said services.
Adopted this 27th day of July, 2000 and
certified as a tree copy of the original on
July 28th, 2000.
