Member Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-40
RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL
FOR COVEY RUN
WHEREAS, Thomas Gubbins (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of land in Medina located
north and south of Pioneer Trail near its intersection with Chippewa Road, which land the
Applicant has platted as Covey Run; and
WHEREAS, final plat approval was granted to the plat of Covey Run on April 6, 1999;
and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has been unable to file the plat of Covey Run with Hennepin
County prior to the expiration of 60 days and has requested an extension of time to do so.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, as follows:
1. That the city hereby reaffirms its approval of the final plat of Covey Run and grants
to the Applicant an additional 30 days from the date of this resolution to file the final plat with
Hennepin County. Thereafter, the approval hereby granted shall be null and void and of no further
force or effect.
2. Nothing herein shall be deemed to alter the terms and conditions of the final plat
approval granted by the city on April 6, 1999, with the exception of the extension of the date for
final plat filing.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Zietlow and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None Absent: Johnson
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
