RESOLUTION NO. 16-5142
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF APPLICATION FOR CALRECYCLE
PAYMENT PROGRAMS AND RELATED AUTHORIZATIONS
WHEREAS, pursuant to Public Resources Code section 48000 et seq. the Department of Resources
Recycling and Recovery (CaiRecycle) has established various payment programs to make payments to
qualifying jurisdictions; and
WHEREAS, in furtherance of this authority Cal Recycle is required to establish procedures governing the
administration of the payment programs; and
WHEREAS, Cal Recycle's procedures for administering payment programs require, among other things, an
applicant's governing body to declare by resolution certain authorizations related to the administration of
the payment program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Temple City (City) is authorized to submit an
application to Cal Recycle for any and all payment programs offered; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager, or his/her designee, is hereby authorized as Signature
Authority to execute all documents necessary to implement and secure payment; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this authorization is effective until rescinded by the Signature Authority
or this Governing Body.
