Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-44
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT
APPROVAL TO STEVE SCHERER AND WILFRED
SCHERER
WHEREAS, Steve Scherer and Wilfred Scherer (the "Applicants") are the fee owners of
property located at 2622 Willow Drive and 2672 Willow Drive, respectively; and
WHEREAS, the Applicants intend to plat their properties; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on June
8, 1999 and by the city council at its meeting on June 15, 1999; and
WHEREAS, the plat has been given preliminary review by the city council for its
compliance with the ordinances and requirements of the city.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina,
Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicants for the plat of their
property, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. The final plat must dedicate the standard drainage and utility easements along all
property lines;
2. The Applicants must provide title evidence to the satisfaction of the city attorney;
3. The Applicants must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and
4. The Applicants must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator
within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void.
The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval

and of the ordinances and requirements of the city.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson
and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
