AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AMENDING CHAPTER 20
(MUNICIPAL JUDGE. COURT, ETC.), SECTION 10 (ISSUANCE AND EXECUTION OF
WARRANTS) OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON BY ADDING A FEE SET
BY THE MUNICIPAL JUDGE FOR WARRANTS ISSUED BY THE MUNICIPAL JUDGE.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 20-10 of the City Code is hereby amended as follows:
Sec.20-10.Issuance and execution of warrants.
All warrants issued by a municipal judge shall be directed to the chief of police,or any other
police officer of the city or to the sheriff of the county. The warrant shall be executed by the chief of
police,police officer,or sheriff any place within the limits of the county and not elsewhere unless the
warrants are endorsed in the manner provided for warrants in criminal cases,and,when so endorsed,
shall be served in other counties,as provided for in warrants in criminal cases. After issuance of said
warrant,a fee,to be set the municipal 'ui dge hy'ut dicial order,may be assessed to the Party
a�nst whom the warrant was issued.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
