A RESOLUTIOPI OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD REQUESTIPIG THAT THE STATE DIVISIODI OF
HIGHWAYS,EXPEDITE DETERMINATION OF PRECISE ALIGN-.
MENTS OF ALL PRESENTLY PROPOSED FREEWAYS IN THE
SOUZ'HEAST AREA OF LOS ANGELES.
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby _
find and resolve as f'ollows:
Sect"ion l. 'The Route 90 and Route 42 freeways (Slauson
and Century,Freeways) have'been in the planning stage for a.number
of years. -
' Section 2. Numerous alternate routes have been proposed
� which bisect the various incorporated cities in the Southeast
Los Angeles Area. �
� Sectiori 3. The existence of said numerous alternate
routes is creating a detrimental effect on tne economy o£ the
area and tends to discourage the upgrading of properties located_
in the study bands. `
BE IT THEP,EFORE RESOLVED:
, TYiat the City Council of th'e City of Lynwood encourages
and supports the det,ermination of precise routes for all.freeways• ,
in the Southeast Area of Los Angeles at the earliest possible date.
