RESOLUTION N0. 66-110
RESOLUTION OF AWARD OF CONTRACT IN THE MATTER OF
THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT OF' ALMA AVENUE, BETWEEN
RUTH STREET AND OTIS STREET, BY THE CONSTRUCTION
OF CURBS, GUTTER, DRIVEWAY APPROACHES AND SIDEWALK,
INCLUDING ALL INCIDENTAL AND APPURTENANT WORK.
WHEREAS, the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood did on
the 5th day o£ December, 1966 publicly open, examine, and declare
all sealed proposals or bid� £or the following work to be done or
improvement to be made in said city, to wit': , all that certain
work and improvement set forth in Resolution of Intention No.
66-83 passed and adopted by the said City Council on the 6th
day of September, 1966 which Resolution of Intention is on file
in the office of the City Clerk of said city, and ia hereby
re£erred to for a description of said work or improvement, the
boundaries of the district to be aesessed to pay the costs and
expenses of said work and for further particulars.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that
it does hereby reject all of said proposals or bids except the next
herein mentioned, and hereby a.wards the contract £or doing said
work or improvement to the lowest, regular, responaible bidder, to
wit;Louis:.S.:Lope� at the prices for said work or improvement named
in eaid bid, which bid is on file in the office of the City Clerk
of said city a.nd is hereby referred to for further.particulars.
The City Clerk of said city is hereby directed to
publiEh notice of this a.ward twice in the Lynwood Press, a weekly
newspaper published and circulated in said city, and hereby
designated for that purpose by this City Council.
