SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING 12:00 P.M.
Consistent with provisions of the Utah Open and Public Meetings Act, Utah Code Ann. § 54 -2 -207(4), the Moab
City Council Chair has issued written determinations supporting the decision to convene electronic meetings of
the Council without a physical anchor location. Due to the health and safety risks related to the ongoing COVID -
19 pandemic and considering public health orders limiting in -person gatherings, the Moab City Council will
continue to hold meetings by electronic means. The public is invited and encouraged to view and participate in
the Council ’s electronic meetings by viewing the City ’s YouTube

Background/Summary:
At the end of each budget year we find it necessary to open our budget to accommodate any changes that have happened throughout the year. A detailed summary of the changes is attached.

• Using a portion of the Cares Act funding it has been decided to use a portion of those funds to use as a grant program and also a Moab bucks program.
