A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APFROPRIATION OF PARKING AND BUSINESS
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ASSESSMENT FUNDS FOR PAINT TO REMOVE
GRAFFITI
WHEREAS, On Novemtier 1985 the City of Lynwood City Council approved
Ordinance No. 1262 establishing the Parking Business Improvement District; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1262 authorizes the City to charge an additional
50% surcharge to the annual business license renewal fee; and
WHEREAS, On March 16, 2007, the City Council enforced Ordinance No. 1262;
and
WHEREAS, On January 5, 2010, City Council approved the City to levy and
charge various improvements that will benefit the PBID Assessment including a$25,000
purchase for paint to remove graffiti.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND DETERMINE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. On January 5, 2010, the City Council approved the PBID
assessment of $25,000 for Graffiti removal paint.
Section 2. The Mayor is authorized to execute this appropriation of PBID fund.
Section 3. That the City Manager or designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 21 day of September, 2010.
