HomeMy Public PortalAbout2022-62 Reso Granting Final Plat Extension Pioneer PreserveResolution No. 2022-62 August 16, 2022 Member _Cavanaugh_ introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 2022-62 RESOLUTION GRANTING EXTENSION OF TIME TO REQUEST FINAL PLAT APPROVAL FOR PIONEER TRAIL PRESERVE; AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2021-39 WHEREAS, on June 15, 2021, the city of Medina adopted Resolution 2021-39, granting preliminary approval to James R. Korin and Melissa A. Korin (the “Applicants”) of a plat to be called Pioneer Trail Preserve; and WHEREAS, under the terms of said resolution, the application for final approval was required to be requested within 180 days or the approval was to be considered void, unless a written request for time extension is submitted by the Applicants and approved by the City Council; and WHEREAS, on September 7, 2021, the City Council adopted resolution 2021-54, granting the Applicant’s request for an extension of one year to request final plat approval; and WHEREAS, the Applicants have requested a further extension of time to request final plat approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The final plat approval shall be requested by September 7, 2023, or preliminary approval shall be considered void, unless a written request for time extension is submitted by the Applicant and approved by the City Council. 2. Except as explicitly stated above, all terms and conditions of Resolution 2021-39 are hereby reaffirmed.
