Mayor Yu called the City Council Special Meet ing to order at 6 :16p.m. in the Counci l
Chambers located at 5938 Kauffman Avenue , Temple City.

Councilmember Chavez made a motion to excuse Councilmember Fish and Mayor
Pro Tern Sternquist. Seconded by Councilm ember Man .
Councilmember Fish arrived at the meeting at 6 :28 p.m. and Mayor Pro Tern
Sternquis t arrived at t he meeting at 6 :30 p .m .
Councilmember Fish and Mayor Pro Tern Sternquist recused themselves from
discussion of Closed Sess ion Item 4A (Potential Lit igation ) due to potential confl ict of
interest.

City Council recessed to closed session at 6 :16 p .m. and reconvened at 7:42 p.m .
with all members present.
City Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session regarding Item
4A (Potential Litigation), 48 (Anticipated Litigation) and gave directions to the City
Attorney . There is no other reportable action .
C ity Attorney Vail reported that City Council met in Closed Session regarding Item
4C (Conference with Labor Negotiator) and will continue discussion of this item
after the Regular City Council meeting at 7 :30 p.m. There is no other reportable
action .
City Council recessed at 9 :12 p.m. to continue the discussion of Closed Session
Item 4C (Conference with Labor Negotiator) and reconvened at 9 :51 p.m . with all
members present.
City Attorney Vail reported that City Council gave directions to City's Chief Labor
Negotiator. No are no other reportable action.
5. ADJOURNMENT
The City Council Special Meeting was adjourned at 9:51 p.m .
