RESOLUTION NO. 15-9083
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA; DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ESTABLISH AN EMPLOYEE REVIEW
COMMITTEE TO HEAR THE CONCERNS OF EMPLOYEES;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS,The City no longer has a Civil Service Board; and
WHEREAS, The employees of the City need a venue by which to express
their concerns.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF OPA LOCAK, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to establish
an Employee Review Committee to hear the concerns of City Employees.
Section 3. The City Manager is further directed to report back to the City
Commission within 60 days of the effective date of this Resolution with a
report on its progress in the establishment of the Employee Review
Committee.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
