THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, FEBURARY 5, 2004
The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of Richmond, Indiana, met at 5 p.m. Thursday,
February 5, 2004 in the Community Room in the Municipal Building. John Kenny, Mary Jo Flood, Dian
Lawson and Assistant City Attorney Joel Harvey were in attendance. The following business was
conducted:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Kenny made a request to approve the minutes for January 29, 2004. Lawson made a motion to approve,
with a second by Flood. The motion was carried on a voice vote
CLAIMS FOR PAYMENT
Kenny presented claims from the Finance Department for $575,007.37. Flood made a motion to approve,
with a second by Lawson. The motion was carried on a voice vote.
REQUEST
A. A letter of request came from Brent Wolfe from Richmond Power & Light and given to
Councilman Jack Elstro to be presented to the Board of Works for approval for 6 — 100 W
Sodium streetlights, @$6.36 a month for each, at South 48th Street. Flood made a motion to
approve, with a second by Lawson. The motion was carried on a voice vote.
SPECIAL RECONGNITION
John Kenny, acknowledged the presents of Terra Butler, a student of Richmond Senior High
School. She was attending the meeting for credit for class credit.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed, and carried on a voice
vote, the meeting was adjourned.
