RESOLUTION NO. 15-9085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA; DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXPEDITE THE CITY'S ROADWAY AND
SIDE WALK IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM IN
RESIDENTIAL AREAS NOT COVERED BY THE STATE OF
FLORIDA REVOLVING LOAN PROGRAM; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City's residential areas are in need of roadway and sidewalk
improvement; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission believes that the citizens of this Great City
deserves improved roads and sidewalks.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED THAT THE CITY
COMMISSION FOR THE CITY OF OPA LOCAK, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to expedite
the City's roadway and sidewalk improvement program not covered by the
State of Florida Revolving Loan Program.
Section 3. The City Manager further directed to report back to the City
Commission within 30 days of the effective date of this Resolution with a
report on its progress in expediting the City's sidewalk and roadway
improvement program.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of October, 2015.
