HomeMy Public PortalAbout1999-058129 Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.99-58 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL FOR TURNHAM ADDITION WHEREAS, Thomas Turnham (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of property located at 1512 Deerhill Road (the "Property"); and WHEREAS, the Applicant intends to plat the Property into two lots in accordance with the preliminary plat prepared by Ellerstad Land Services dated April 7, 1999; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed and approved by the planning commission at its meeting on August 10, 1999; and WHEREAS, the plat has now been given preliminary review by the city council for its compliance with the ordinances and requirements of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of the Property, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The final plat must dedicate drainage and utility easements along all property lines and easements over the wetlands as required by the city engineer; 2. The final plat must dedicate the right-of-way for Deer Hill Road and be in compliance with all requirements of the city engineer; 3. The Applicant must pay a park dedication fee for Lot 2 in an amount determined by the city; 4. The Applicant must demonstrate to the satisfaction of the city that there exist two septic sites on the newly created lot and one additional septic site on the lot with the existing house, RHB-169565 ME230-298 99-58 10-05-99 130 all of which meet city requirements. Such sites must be staked and preserved from damage during construction; 5. The Applicant must provide title evidence satisfactory to the city attorney regarding the Property; 6. The Applicant must make provision for driveway easements over Lot 2 satisfactory to the city attorney; 7. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; and 8. The Applicant must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval and of the ordinances and requirements of the city. Dated: October 5,1999.
