RESOLUTION NO. 15-9091
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE CITY
MANAGER TO STUDY THE FEASIBILITY OF A CITYWIDE
OFF-STREET PARKING PROGRAM WITH THE CREATION OF
A PARKING AUTHORITY; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, desires to
develop an Off-street Program with creation of a parking authority to manage the said
program; and
WHEREAS, The development of such program can bring additional revenues
into the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission hereby directs the City Manager to study the
feasibility of developing an Off-street parking program with the creation of a
parking authority to manage the said program, and to bring back the results of
the study in 60 days.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
