She explained to the board her concerns about the signage not being sufficient for the construction traffic that is coming through her neighbor for the Roaming Hills addition. Not only was she concerned about the traffic but the fact that they would go way too fast. She claims that they are continuing to use her street, Riley Hills Drive, to get to the construction site. They were told by council when they approved the addition that there was not to be any construction traffic allowed down that street. Captain Ponder explained that when he and his other officers have been there for 2 hours or more at a time they have not seen any construction traffic go through on that street. He also said that he wasn't saying that this was not happening but he didn't have the resources to have an officer on site all the time. Ms Rothert said that if signs could be put on the corner of Sol4'h and "U" and So14I' and Riley Hills Drive it might help with the problem. She told the board that the signs that are in place now have too much wording on them and because of where they are located by the time someone sees them it is already too late they are already on the street. Besides relocating the signs she feels that all they should say is "No Construction Traffic" The board told her that one of them would go look at the signs that are there and look over the situation and see if there is anything that can be done. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, on a motion duly made, seconded and passed unanimously. The meeting was adjourned. ATTEST: Monica Burns, Deputy Clerk John Kenny, President
