RESOLUTION NO. 15-9095
A RESOLUTION OF CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-
LOCKA, FLORIDA, ASSIGNING THE CITY MANAGER OF THE
CITY OPA-LOCKA TO SERVE AS THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
OF THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, There is insufficient revenue to fund the Community
Redevelopment Agency's current operations; and
WHEREAS, The Community Redevelopment Agency of the City of Opa-
locka, Florida, requested that the City Manager of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, be
assigned to the Community Redevelopment Agency to serve as the Executive
Director to oversee the Community Redevelopment Agency's operations and
continued function due to a funding shortfall; and
WHEREAS, There is a need for the continued function and oversight of the
Community Redevelopment Agency; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Manager of the Opa-locka, Florida, is hereby assigned to
serve as the Executive Director of the Community Redevelopment Agency and to
oversee its functions and operations.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
