Special meeting of the McCall Public Library Board of Trustees
April 9, 2019
Library Conference Room, 2:00 PM
Call to order: 2:00
Attendance: Lola Elliot, Ed Hershberger, Lynn Lewinski, Meg Lojek
Amendments to Agenda: None.
Business:
All present reviewed and discussed the B133 Contract revisions, considering questions and comments
from John, Lynn and Meg about the proposed library design and construction administration by
Humphries Poli Architects.
The Board had reached out for clarification on the original contract presented by Dennis Humphries.
John Powell worked with Andy Laidlaw and Anette Spickard to revise the contract, and with Dennis
Humphries, they prepared the AIA B133 Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Architect,
Construction Manager as Constructor Edition because it is more tailored toward the CM/GC method we
are using. Dennis transferred his previous contract edits to this document. The contract was sent to
legal review on March 28tn
Discussing our questions and broadening our scope of understanding, we found the new B133 contract
satisfactory.
Lola motioned and Lynn 2nd, to recommend the B133 contract with Humphries Poli as presented to be
approved by City Council, with the edit of typo $1,110,000 to be $110,000 / page 43 / Phase 3 / Our
Approach. All in favor.
