Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 99-69
RESOLUTION TO INSTALL NO PARKING SIGNS
ON A PORTION OF HOLY NAME DRIVE
WHEREAS, the Conditional Use Permit No. 99-20, granting a amended Conditional
Use Permit to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church has a number of conditions; and
WHEREAS, condition #9 states, "There shall be no parking on Holy Name Drive, Co.
Rd. 24 or Brockton Lane with the requirements of the Medina public works department and the
police chief' and
WHEREAS, no parking has been occurring on Holy Name Drive north of County Road
24 during the time there are activities at the Church; and
WHEREAS, it is a potential health and safety issue to continue parking here and a
violation of their Conditional Use Permit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina
that No Parking signs be installed on both sides of Holy Name Drive commencing at County
Road 24 to 400' north.

The foregoing motion was duly seconded by member Smith and upon vote being taken thereon,
the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
And the following voted against same: None
Whereupon, said motion was declared duly adopted.
