SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a new retainer agreement with White Peterson for City Attorney services. The monthly retainer
amount stays the same at $5,600. Hourly rates on other matters have increased as follows:
• Compensation for Additional Legal Services performed by White Peterson at the request of the City
has been increased from $150.00 per hour to $175.00 per hour for services performed by White
Peterson's shareholder attorneys
• Compensation for Additional Legal Services performed by White Peterson at the request of the City
has been increased from $100.00 per hour to $125.00 per hour for associate attorneys
The term of the Agreement is from January 1, 2010 through September 30, 2010. There are no other
changes to the Agreement.
Attached is the new agreement.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the new retainer agreement with White Peterson for City Attorney services and authorize the
Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
